How It Works
The affected arm is supported in an ergonomic arm brace that offsets its weight, allowing patients with significant weakness to move against gravity and use whatever active movement they have. The system guides the arm through therapeutic movements and turns exercises into interactive, game-like tasks on a screen, giving immediate feedback and motivation.

Recovery of arm and hand function depends on intensive, repetitive, task-specific practice that drives neuroplasticity. The Armeo allows far more repetitions than manual therapy, keeps patients engaged, and adapts the level of support and challenge as they improve.
